The best Secondary Education in Valladolid

Secondary education represents a crucial step in our students’ important process of self-affirmation and personal growth. For many, it is a challenging stage, representing the transition from childhood to responsibility and independence.
In ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education), our students consolidate and expand their knowledge and understanding methods thanks to a broad and balanced curriculum, which provides a solid academic foundation for their future. Completion of this stage offers them the opportunity to obtain a dual qualification: the Spanish qualification, with the ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) certificate, and the British qualification, with the Secondary Education Certificate awarded by the University of Cambridge through the IGCSEs.
In addition, our students opt for an enriched curriculum through multiple Enrichment activities : Theater, Debate Club, Journalism Club, Financial Life Skills , and a wide range of complementary activities.

Methodology
Our curriculum combines the Spanish system with British curriculum methodologies and establishes clear objectives for the knowledge, understanding, and skills required in each subject.
Students learn best when they are actively involved in their own learning process and encouraged to be creative and analytical in their thinking. Teachers create an environment in which students not only acquire knowledge but also engage in problem-solving and use critical thinking to question and understand concepts.
At our school, students learn to apply knowledge, not just read, memorize, and recall. They are encouraged to
International Outlook
All subjects in the ESO curriculum are taught in English, except for Spanish Language and Literature, French, and German.
Our students continue to develop their English communication skills through activities such as debates and participation in the international Model United Nations program. Our students also have the opportunity to take the Cambridge University English exams, achieving the maximum level: C2 Proficiency.

Prepared for the Future
We increasingly encourage our students to develop their independent learning skills so they can recognize their strengths and develop their talents. Our Guidance Department supports them in choosing their next steps in education, considering future academic and professional opportunities.
Students’ progress is continuously monitored by their teachers, using a variety of methods.
