At Colegio Internacional de Valladolid we do not teach English, we teach in English, since our students learn this language in a totally immersive way from the age of one, which leads them to achieve a real mastery of the language.
The British methodology, based on practical and experiential learning, makes our students learn by doing and discovering, developing their passion for learning from an early age. In addition, the international atmosphere of the school fosters knowledge and respect for other cultures, making them aware of the richness of the world’s multiculturalism.

Thanks to the British methodology, the student becomes the protagonist of his own learning. In our centre we help students to find the best version of themselves by developing their talents, fostering their love for science, humanities, music and sport and fostering a plural environment of mutual respect that creates caring citizens, happy, healthy and tomorrow’s leaders.
Environment
The school’s green, natural and pleasant environment is an extension of the classroom. Also, the use of laboratories, workshops, music room, art lab, sports facilities and even the auditorium, are an essential part of school daily life and encourage our students to discover and learn in a practical way.
Digitalisation
In our learning environment, digitization is a resource to support project work and encourage collaborative work. We are Google Reference School and our students have one-to-one Chromebook devices beginning in Year 5. We are aware that in the globalized world in which we live we can not be alien to technology, however, this should not be the basis of the teaching-learning process, but an element which enriches this process. It is our philosophy and responsible use of technology that has earned us the Common Sense School badge.
Learning
Our students benefit from a practical and experiential learning where the vehicular language of their day to day is English, in addition, from Primary the students begin to learn French and already, in Secondary, German. The international environment of the school fosters multilingual students who develop the ability to learn to learn, to think for themselves, to solve problems and to be committed citizens with their community and the world.
